1969 AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE MKlV. 5 SPEED GEARBOX. HARD TOP. ROAD TAX AND MOT EXEMPT. GREAT CONDITION. £8995.
This fantastic little Austin Healey Sprite is a MklV HAN9 chassis model. It was first registered 1st July 1969 and is now 50 years old. It is road tax and MOT exempt but does have a current MOT. Mechanically this car is excellent with a 1275cc single carb engine, an unleaded cylinder head and a 5 speed gearbox conversion. It certainly gets on down the road very well and can cruise nicely in 5th gear without straining the engine. The car was fully rebuilt in 2003 and has covered a mere 19,000 miles since. There is a history file with old MOT's, invoices and an owners handbook. The car looks great finished in Old English White with a black soft top that is like new and the original style steel wheels with correct AH chrome hubcaps. The exterior chrome and bumpers are in first class condition. The interior is excellent and the seats are piped with white trim. The black carpets are like new and the dashboard and clocks are in fine fettle. A major bonus with this car is that it comes with a factory hardtop in Dark Green that looks great on the car and keeps the elements out. The current owner has had the car for 10 years and the previous owner to him was the mother of a gentleman I know well who owns an MG parts supply company. The car has been very well maintained. This car is ready for its next owner to enjoy this summer and for many years to come.
