1978 FERRARI 308GT4 DINO. RHD UK CAR ONLY 46,OO0 MILES. FERRARI ROSSO RED AND TAN INTERIOR. FERRARI OWNERSHIP FOR £42,500.
The Ferrari 308GT4 Dino 2+2 was designed by Bertone and introduced in 1973. It ran till 1980. Only 2826 cars were built making it a rare car. This particular car is an original RHD vehicle making it even rarer. First registered in May 1978 VPH 686 has led an easy life with the clock showing only 46,000 miles in 40 years. Little is known of its early life but we do know it spent 6 years from 2008-2014 on display at the London Motor Museum. The car has been owned for the last 4 years by a Worthing gentleman who has a small collection of classic cars. He has ensured that the car has been serviced and MOT'd each year and that the car runs as it should. Although the car is 40 years old and soon to be road tax and MOT exempt it remains in very good if not concours condition. The Rosso Red paintwork shines and the car sits on original Campagnola wheels that look just right. The wheels are shod in new good quality tyres. The spare is also a full size Campagnola and there is a 6th spare rim just in case. The pop up quad headlamps are in good working order. The cars Tan leather interior has worn well and is in good condition making it a nice place to be. The sound system is a Sony stereo Radio/CD player. The engine bay is very tidy and houses the 3 litre V8 engine and 5 speed gearbox. The engine has had a cambelt change, new water pump, new battery, new brake pads and a major service all within the last 500 miles. The Stainless Steel exhaust emits a wonderful throaty burble and the car gets down the road very well indeed. Everything works and the car comes with a workshop manual, Ferrari logo dust cover, optimate battery conditioner and a superb Ferrari leather cased tool kit. It also has an MOT with no advisories. Most of these cars are priced in the £55-£65k region so we feel that this car is a bargain and a usable affordable Ferrari.
