1965 WOLSELEY 6/110 Mk2 OVERDRIVE. 2 TONE BLUE/GREY. STUNNING CAR. 3 LITRE 6 CYLINDER. £10,995.
This lovely Wolseley 6/110 Mk2 with overdrive was first registered 15th November 1965 sop is now 55 years. It is now both Road tax and MOT exempt. The 6/110 was the big brother to the Morris Oxford and the Austin Cambridge and was the BIG Farina. They were rare when they were new in the 60's and even rarer today with less tha 100 on the UK roads. The car is large and luxurious with lots of chrome and leather fitments. The radiator surround, bumpers, overiders, hub caps, trim rings, spot lights, headlight bezels, wing mirrors, side trims, front and rear windscreen surrounds, wiper arms and blades, window trims, rear lights surrounds and boot trim are all chrome and glint nicely in the light. The two tone Grey and Blue paint is in good order and the overall appearance is fantastic. The interior is just luxury with leather seats and trim centre armrests on a 4 seats, picnic tables in the rear of the seats, wood veneer door cappings (that could do with some re-varnishing) and wooden dash board. New carpets and a very good headlining complete the interior. The engine is the 2912cc 6 cylinder as fitted to the Austin Healey 3000 and is mated to a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. The car has excellent oil pressure and sounds smooth and powerful and drives along serenely. The current owner has had the car for 5 years. 86950 miles on the milometer but that can't be warranted.
