1952 MORRIS MINOR SPLIT SCREEN 4 DOOR SALOON. LARGE SUN ROOF. OWNED 7 YEARS. 'A' SERIES £5995.
This lovely old car KSL 460 is a 1952 Morris Minor Split Screen 4 door Saloon that has had a very large sun roof fitted. It is almost a convertible! The car was first registered 19th September 1952, is now 68 years old and is Road Tax and MOT exempt. It is a Mk2 Minor and has the 'A' series engine. This engine was introduced in August 1952 and this car is from September so must be one of the oldest surviving 'A' series engined cars. The engine is mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox and together they propel this little car down the road with enthusiasm. The speedo is showing 93,650 miles but that can't be warranted. The red interior has had the front seats recovered and the carpets replaced making it a nice place to be. The original semaphore indicators are still present but not functioning as more modern indicators have been fitted. It has good chrome bumpers. chrome headlight peaks and a neat and tidy boot. It is not a concours car and shows a few blemishes from the last 68 years. A very usable and interesting car.
