1963 MGB ROADSTER EARLY PULL HANDLE & 9TH OLDEST KNOWN MGB. TARTAN RED, WIRE WHEELS & OVERDRIVE. £13,995.
This is a very early pull handle GHN3 MGB roadster and is the 9th earliest still known to exist by the MG Clubs register of early cars. The car was first registered 5th February 1963 and is now 57 years old. It is Road tax and MOT exempt. The history file has 15 old MOT's and shows only 6000 miles in the last 25 years but crucially 2000 in the last 4 years. Recently in 2018 it had a huge full service along with external and internal
detailing and a bill for £2435 from a leading classic car specialist. It has had a new control box, dynamo, tyres, seat foams and diaphragms, electric fuel pump and battery. Tartan red coachwork with contrasting black interior with original type leather seats with white piping and matching door cards. The interior is very original with a lovely unmolested patina. The body and underside are very clean and free of any structural issues.
The chrome work is in good overall condition only showing mild
patination in a couple of places . New wire wheels and tyres in 2016. Overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. Works style fibreglass Hardtop. Le mans style fuel cap. A new mohair soft top with frame along with a full tonneau. This would make an ideal base for a historic competition car and being a
pull handle 1963 car it would be eligible for FIA events.
