2000 ROVER MINI COOPER SPORT. ONLY 36,000 MILES. SOLAR RED. FANTASTIC CONDITION. £12,995.
This great little Rover Mini Cooper Sport was from the last year of production and was first registered 21st May 2000. Chassis number 185406 was registered W507 AOG and over the next 19 years covered only 36,000 miles. These last year Mini's are now very sought after and desirable and have become a good investment whilst delivering great fun for the lucky owner. This was the final version, twin point injection with front-mounted
radiator. Full-width dashboard replaces the original shelf, internal
bonnet release. Introduction of an airbag on driver's side. The basic Mini was the 1.3i, the other model in the
range being the Mini Cooper. The end of production in October 2000 not
only signalled the end of original Mini production after 41 years, but
also brought about the demise of the 1275-cc engine which had powered
the Mini and numerous other BL/BMC/ARG cars for more than 35 years.
Finished in the best colour of Solar Red and having the large Sport Pack wheels, arches and spot lights this car looks amazing and hurtles down the road with some gusto courtesy of the 1.3 multi point injected petrol engine and 4 speed gearbox. It has a little extra power with the addition of a K&N airfilter and a Fletcher exhaust. It has a new catalytic converter, locking wheel nuts, a Sony CD radio system, etc. The history file shows lots of old invoices for general maintenance and servicing, lots of MOT's to prove the mileage and the original book pack is there as well. Overall a great car in fantastic condition that drives very well. MOT with no advisories till 21st may 2020.
