1968 MORRIS MINOR 1000 2DOOR SALOON. A STUNNING RECENTLY RESTORED EXAMPLE. TAX & MOT EXEMPT. £10995
It is a welcome return to this car that we first sold 2 years ago. The owner has enjoyed owning the car but due to lack of time and other commitments the car has been little used and covered less than 1000 miles during his ownership. This 1968 Morris Minor two door saloon, registration number HJY 95F
was first registered 19/1/1968 and is finished in the Maroon B colour.
This charming two door saloon has been the subject of a no expense
spared nut and bolt restoration by Devon Classic Cars. They confirm that the car had a full body restoration and paint, engine rebuild, new interior, exhaust, brakes, clutch, wiring loom, tyres and a new fuel tank. The maroon
coachwork is superb and is complemented with the re-trimmed red interior
with red carpets and red door cards with a new headlining. All the
running gear and the engine has been restored to a similar high standard
with the 1098cc engine and 4 speed gearbox in excellent working order.
The engine bay is very tidy as is the carpeted boot area. The
restorer advises us that the price of the car is considerably lower than
the £12,000+ cost of the restoration so offers the next owner tremendous value.
The white wheels with chrome hub caps, white grill and new chrome
bumpers finish of the look. The car has had only 5 owners with the
previous owner keeping the car for 33 years. The mileage shows 47,200
miles. It has recently had a service and rear brake set up. The last MOT had no advisories.
